Wedding Favors, I Love

Ask any wedding coordinator, planner, or couple what they regret spending money on for their big day, and they’ll tell you- party favors. At the end of the night when I’m cleaning up, the costliest item that gets thrown out is the favors. So, what should you consider when picking a wedding favor? I think there are lots of things to consider: cost, usage, carbon footprint, and what you’ll do when you get stuck with 20 of them. While there isn’t any one size fits all solution, we do have some awesome suggestions to consider! Scroll down for our top ten favorite wedding favor trends for 2023!

Midnight Snack Crates

These cute crates are not only customizable, cheap, and eco friendly but they are easily reused if you get stuck with them! You can buy mini crates and slap customizable stickers on them! They are super easy to make on sight if you run out and if you have some left over, you just collapse the crate and take the snacks for yourself! Your late night guests will love them, especially if there isn’t a Taco Bell on the way back to the hotel.

Don’t have time to bulk order them yourself, check out this Etsy shop that makes them and ships *free*.

Gettin’ Lucky!

These scratch off tickets are exactly what guests need in this economy! You can buy scratcher tickets in bulk at your local convenience store and package them up in these cute bags. Your guests will leave with a chance of getting rich and any tickets left over is, finger crossed, money towards the honeymoon!

Tying the Knot

We love a multitalented QUEEN (or KING) and that is exactly what these cuties are! These snack bags can double as an itinerary/ timeline for your event! The best part is? They are budget friendly and kill two birds with one stone! Instead of printing off place settings you can pop it on to the bags and get your guests a snack while you take photos! So many people are throwing out cocktail hours and opting for drinks and games. This is the perfect handheld snack while your guests tear up the yard games or look for photo ops around your venue.

Pro Tip: These are super easy for nuts, popcorn, or sunflower seeds. Utilize a Costco or Sam’s membership to buy in bulk!

I Love a Good Scent

We must take a break from the all the food to celebrate for our couples that love a good scent. Surprisingly, these natural soy candles are budget friendly! These customizable cuties are complete with dried flowers and scents that your guests are sure to love. You can color coordinate flowers for your big day and get free scent testers before locking down your favorite scent. Your guests can skip the Bath & Body Works candle sale and burn these up to four hours! They’ll smell that lavender or oak and instantly be brought back to your big day!

Pro Tip: If you are having a summer wedding, keep these cuties somewhere cool before setting them out for the night! Do not freeze, candles sweat, I know-weird.

All is Fair in Love & War

At first, I was against games, but after the pandemic, I play Phase 10 at least four times a week! These customizable card decks are fun for your guests to play at their tables or back in their hotel room when they are still wired from a night of celebration! If you want them to be a bit more versatile you can opt for a cute design that has subtle hints towards your big day! These are a little on the pricier side, perfect for a micro wedding!

Drink Me

I am all about the clinks and drinks! If you want something classier than shot glasses, check out
these mini bottles ready to be filled with your favorite liquor. These are easily assembled and can be used for a variety of drinks! We’ve even had couples filled these bad boys with kombucha! These too are budget friendly alternatives and if you end up with a dozen of these, they can be reused for TSA approved weekend trips!

No Pets? No Problem

Pets not allowed at your big day? Don’t worry, we’ve got
a doggy bag that you can take home. Many couples want to celebrate their best friends in some way, and while we love the signature drinks named after your pets; this is even cuter. These take-home bags can be customized to feature up to five of your pets and filled with their favorite treats! You can celebrate your human friends, but don’t forget about their pets!

I Love You Latte

Love coffee? Caffeine fiend? This small business has got you covered! Send your guests home with your favorite brew! Not only will this give them an incentive to wake up the next morning, but the coffee bag also makes for a great reusable small space freshener! Your coffee grounds (or beans) soak into the burlap leaving your bag potent for the next couple of weeks! I like to hide mine under the passenger seat and let my guests think I’m a rolling Starbucks!

Scrub-a-Dub

Our final pick is another scented favorite. This aromatherapy mini soap is a perfect take home gift for your guest. They’re handmade and full of natural ingredients, including dried flowers and coconut oils! My favorite is the dried grapefruit and jojoba mix, my hands are the softest they’ve ever been! These are great for trips and are TSA approved! Check out this
Etsy shop that features great smelling add-ons.
